FormIDEA (Form Image Data Entry Assistant) is an intelligent forms processing add-in for Microsoft Office. It adds the following advanced form recognition and processing features in Excel: - Form identification - Form registration (auto deskew, rotate scale, and align forms) - Automatic data field tracking - Check box recognition (OMR) - Barcode recognition - Batch mode processing - Data entry verification - Image-enabled workbook for form document retrieval, reviewing and printing With FormIDEA, you can work directly in Excel to transfer data from scanned or faxed paper forms into Excel workbooks. Data fields of interest will be automatically identified. Check boxes and barcode symbols can be read automatically by a built-in OMR and barcode recognition engine. You can also define data capture rules to further enhance data entry accuracy.Once form data or index fields are stored in FormIDEA-enabled Excel workbooks, they are automatically linked with original form image documents. This means that whenever you need to verify data entry results, you no longer need to search original data on paper forms - form documents with original data images can be retrieved instantly in Excel. In addition, FormIDEA provides a programmable Visual Basic interface. You can integrate FormIDEA with other Microsoft Office components to build custom solutions, such as automated data collection and analysis for surveys, evaluations, examinations and assessments.Requirements: Windows 9x, NT4.0, 2000; Excel or Office 97/2000, English version.
