Software Description:

Setup Creator is a straight forward way to create installation programs to distribute your Windows applications. Setup Creator places all your program and data files into a single self extracting executable which can be run as an install under Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. Setup Creator supports only the basic features needed in an installer and is therefore far easier to use than those big installers.

Setup Creator allows you to create installs far smaller than InstallShield, Wise, or others. The final setup executable created by Setup Creator starts at only 120K in size. All files you add to the install will add to the 120K by their size after compression.

The uninstall program is automatically created for you and will appear in the Add/Remove programs utility in Windows.

Setup Creator allows you to create a desktop icon, place items in the Windows start menu (program group), or flag a file to be run on Windows startup.

Your installation program can display a license agreement, a bitmap picture of your choice (like a logo), and other text when run.

When your installation is run by the end user it checks its own file integrity so you don't get blamed if the setup file was corrupted during an Internet download or by other means.
