Subhash VCDPlayer can capture still images from video files and store them in bitmap (BMP) files. Captured images can be viewed instantaneously as the desktop wallpaper.

Subhash VCDPlayer uses Window Media Player 6.4 under the hood, which gives it rock-solid stability. Unlike most other programs that use WMP, Subhash VCDPlayer takes WMP to surreal heights of functionality and ease of use. This has been made possible by borrowing a few ideas from IrfanView (file browsing), Winamp (system tray icon capabilities) and CyberLink PowerPlayer (keyboard shortcuts and still-image capture), and combining them with a slew of unique features of its own.
