NetInfo is a collection of 15 different state-of-the-art network tools on a single, easy-to-use interface. Designed from first-hand experience, NetInfo allows businesses to more effectively combat network downtime by allowing network administrators, webmasters, and Internet service providers to more accurately isolate faults, simplify processing of diagnostic data and increase internal network security.
NetInfo features:
1. Local Info - use the Local Info tool to obtain information about local host and currently active version of the Windows Sockets.
2. Connections - use the Connections tool to obtain information about current TCP/IP connections.
3. Ping - use the Ping tool to verify connectivity to a particular device on your network.
4. Trace - use the Trace tool to obtain the list of gateways between your computer and a particular device.
5. Lookup - use the Lookup tool to obtain information on host names and IP addresses.
6. Finger - use the Finger tool to obtain information about all users on a network host.
7. Whois - use the Whois tool to obtain information on names from the Network Information Center.
8. Daytime - use the Daytime tool to obtain local time of the day at another network host's location.
9. Time - use the Time tool to obtain precise time value from a remote Time server and to synchronize your local system clock.
10. Quote - use the Quote tool to view quotations from a remote Quote server.
11. HTML - use the HTML tool to obtain full header information and the page data from a Web server.
12. Scanner - use the Scanner tool to scan all host names in a specified range of IP addresses and to verify host status for each IP address.
13. Services - use the Services tool to verify a host for available network services.
14. E-mail - use the E-mail tool to verify an e-mail address.
